Public beta

ShipCut is shipping in public beta. Generation is currently slower than it should be — serving capacity is still modest, and that's the main reason a Premium render takes minutes rather than seconds.

This gets better as the product matures: more headroom on the infrastructure, deeper customisation on Standard, longer videos, more output formats, and faster wall-clock are all on the roadmap. You can see what's shipped and what's next on /changelog, and the current edges live on the Known limitations section. The plans below stay fixed as we improve — pricing is locked, the product gets better.

Standard vs Premium

Two ways to make a video. Same input (a URL or a prompt), very different output.

Standard

All plans

Composed from our hand-crafted scene library — 35 scenes, 10 backgrounds, 14 accent palettes. We pick 3–7 scenes that fit, drop in your product copy, render. Polished, predictable, and fast — ~2 min per render.

Counts against the monthly Standard quota on your plan.

Premium

All paid plans

Custom scenes written from scratch for your specific product — bespoke layouts, motion, palette, copy. No library, no template. Takes longer (~5–9 min per render) but the result is uniquely yours.

1 Premium credit per render. Lite = 1 credit / month, Starter = 5, Pro = 10.

Free-form mode — Pro only

Same Premium pipeline, but no URL. You describe what you want in a prompt and the agent invents everything — brand name, palette, storyboard, copy. Great for fictional products, concept videos, or anything that doesn't have a landing page yet. Costs 2 Premium credits per render (vs 1 for URL-based) — so a Pro user can do up to 5 free-form videos / month, or any mix. Lite and Starter users get Premium but URL-based only.

Tweaks are re-renders with a short correction prompt. Standard tweaks are unlimited and free on every plan. Premium tweaks cost 1 credit each (Starter and Pro only). Tweaks available within 30 days of the original submission. After that, the video stays watchable and shareable, but no new corrections can be applied.

A few things worth knowing

Cancel anytime. Manage everything from the Account page — card, invoices, plan switches, cancellation.

Private by default. Renders stay in your dashboard. You decide which ones get a public share URL.

Renders take ~5× the video. A 15s Standard takes about 75 seconds. Premium takes 5 to 9 minutes — close the tab and come back.
